PuddleSet® Tips and Tricks

When using a conventional decoy bag to transport your decoys with the PuddleSet® anchors attached, hold the rod on the anchor close to the keel of the decoy when placing them into your decoy bag.

When using a conventional decoy bag, empty the entire contents of the bag all at once by dumping them either into the water or onto land when setting your decoys.

If you would like to change the color of the handle, use Duct Tape. It comes in many different colors including camo.

When using the PuddleSet® carrying bag, close the clasp on the PuddleSet® anchor before putting the anchor into the bag.

When using the PuddleSet® carrying bag, place the anchors into the bag in opposite directions. (ex. 6 go in handle first and 6 go in tip first.)

When setting multiple decoys simultaneously with the PuddleSet® anchors, weighted keel decoys work much better then water keel decoys.

When using the Short-Haul carrier, insert all the anchors that you are going to put on one side of the carrier at one time, instead of one at a time.
